Who we are

SGVAHA preserves, creates, and manages permanently affordable homes in the San Geronimo Valley of Northern California and beyond.

Our vision is a culturally diverse and vibrant San Geronimo Valley community that retains its unique, rural and natural qualities while offering housing opportunities for people of all income levels and walks of life.

Our Properties

Sage Lane

For over 20 years, we have housed low-income seniors at our three shared homes on Sage Lane in San Geronimo. Tenants maintain their own independent households with shared kitchen, sitting and laundry facilities. In 2017, the homes were upgraded with new appliances, carpeting, and roofs. In 2019, solar panels were installed!

Mobile Home Park

We own and manage the Forest Knolls Mobile Home Park, a vibrant community of almost 30 residents in the heart of the San Geronimo Valley. We acquired the Park in 2015, ensuring that its 20 homes will remain in place and affordable in perpetuity. In 2018, we created an affordable rental through the purchase of a new mobile home to add to the Park’s existing 19 owner-occupied units.

Current Projects

Real Community Rentals

SGVAHA helps landowners create affordable second units on their properties! A win-win-win for landowners, renters, and our community!

Greening Our Homes

We are dedicated to providing homes that are not only affordable but environmentally sustainable and energy efficient!

“Growing up in the Valley taught me acceptance, tolerance, and the desire to preserve [this] amazing community where people of all backgrounds can find a secure place to live.”
